How To Begin

If you are thinking about beginning an open-ended psychotherapy I always suggest that we begin with a six-session trial period in which you can take your time to think about whether you feel safe and able to work with me, and I use this time to consider whether I am the right therapist for you.

The First Session

Our first meeting is an assessment session where we discuss your reasons for wanting therapy. This first meeting is the opportunity for you to get a sense of how I practice and what the experience might feel like.
